A word about fireweed

Jennifer has always been captivated by fireweed. During her childhood in Alaska, she would stand in awe beside mountainsides blanketed with this beautiful plant. True to its name, fireweed is a beautiful, hardy, and resilient plant that frequently appears after the devastation of a forest fire. Amidst a landscape of ash and soot, these stunning flowers bloom from their roots as they grow, signaling that there will once again be life in this place.

This is a picture of Enduring Hope.

We all find ourselves in some version of a scorched mountainside—difficult life circumstances, major losses or changes, painful events we struggle to forget, challenges in our most significant relationships, thoughts and emotions that seem beyond our control, or spiritual unrest can all leave us scorched.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Jennifer considers it both an honor and a privilege to meet individuals wherever they find themselves on their own personal mountainsides. If you are reading this, may you leave this page knowing that no matter how devastated your surroundings may seem, there is always, always hope.
